We'd like to thank all of our customers, community, and staff for helping us survive the pandemic in 2020 and beyond. We are proud to have been able to serve the community safely throughout this time, closing only for around 2 weeks at the start of lockdown 1.0.

Year 2020! Let’s reflect on our year together 😊

Firstly, this would have not been possible had you not supported us. Truly, we cannot thank you enough. We appreciate each and everyone of you. Customers you are amazing, and we’re so proud of the community spirit around us. 

 

What a year it’s been! I’m sure most businesses reading this can relate to our rollercoaster journey in 2020. Well, where to start..  

 

January and February seemed like they flew by, back when everything was ‘normal’ for us - little did we know!

Then along came March.. 

Heartbreakingly we had to close our restaurant doors.. but we missed you all too much! After only a few days we worked hard to come up with a plan to continue serving our community - Piano turned takeaway! With a delivery and collection service in place, you could all enjoy our restaurant quality food in the comfort of your own home. As we all know the famous....Stay Home, Stay Safe motto! 

 

Little did we know that April, May and June would pass by without being able to open normally; however we did introduce the very popular waffle and crepe menu and helped many celebrate VE day with our afternoon teas, which brought us all some joy. All the while we relied on the encouragement and support from all of you to keep us afloat.

 

Finally July 4th 2020. A glimmer of hope. Hello customers!🥰 To say things would be different would be an understatement - we certainly pulled out all the stops to ensure the community’s safety. We couldn’t thank you all enough, we were delighted to see you all back with us and staying safe. 

 

With August came Eat Out To Help Out, and what a crazy busy month it was. Once again we were overwhelmed by the support from all of you ❤️ 

 

September, we had some needed renovations to give Piano a fresh new look! September 14th, our doors re-opened again and we were happy to offer the 50% discount again until the end of the month. 

 

Oh no....here we go again. Rule of 6, early closing, and mixing restrictions - all of this made it incredibly hard to work in and but we knew it was all the best if we could keep you safe. At this point more than ever your custom meant so much to us. As a thank you, Piano introduced Take-out to Eat out, with a massive 30% discount on your orders.

 

November - just like that we closed our doors again. And from then on, takeaway only it was! Throughout December we enjoyed getting festive with our window displays and helping you celebrate Christmas and the New Year. 

 

January 2021. A whole year has passed, and yes it’s been a very difficult one for each and everyone of us. However we will continue to be here for Radcliffe and the surrounding villages offering our takeaway services and community spirit.
